(2006) We’re out of the starting gate and on our way.  The Penncrest High School Scholarship Foundation awarded its first scholarships at the Penncrest Award Ceremonies on June 2, 2006.  The Class of 1963 Scholarships went to Jeffrey Walker and Katherine Magliochetti in the 2006 graduating class.

Our original plan was to completely fund the foundation enabling us to present annual scholarships indefinitely starting in 2013, our 50th reunion year.  Th2 2006 scholarships were made possible through additional contributions from the children, grandchildren, and friends of Pearl Sorkin and Marian Hevner.
